Erin Donovan

Erin brings expertise in video, photography and multimedia, and a passion for promotion and client service. Her dynamic vision, unparalleled experience and skills in broadcast, photography and social media combine to create compelling stories for clients.  Erin, an Emmy Award-winning journalist, has eight years of local television experience from 2005-2013 at WBIR-TV Channel 10. Prior to joining Moxley Carmichael, Erin served for five years as director of communications and social strategies for Visit Knoxville, the marketing organization for the City of Knoxville and Knox County.  While at WBIR, Erin won an ADDY and Associated Press awards. She created WBIR’s “Darin’ Erin” segment in which viewers picked adventures for her from driving a fire truck to being pursued by a police dog to parachuting indoors. As a videographer for WFXT in Boston, Massachusetts, Erin earned an Emmy Award for coverage of Whitey Bulger. She earned television awards from the Associated Press and Maine Association of Broadcasters and recognition from the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) for her videography. She has a total of 23 years of experience in television. Erin is a frequent speaker and emcee at events throughout East Tennessee, including “Howl-O-Ween” in support of UT Gardens and the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She served for years as “Biscuit Queen” for the International Biscuit Festival. She also is a committee member and emcee for the Friends of Literacy’s Bachelor Auction. Erin has served as a mentor for 14 years at Big Brother Big Sisters and got hooked on Catalyst when she started volunteering with the kayaking and mountain biking programs.
